The Accuracy page compares what AI says about your brand with the facts you provide, and flags statements that look wrong, such as an old price, a product you no longer sell or a wrong location, so you can correct them.
Add brand facts
In Settings, under Brand facts, choose Add a fact and write a short statement. Mark it True fact (for example, "Founded in 2012") or Misconception (false) (for example, "Offers a free plan" when it does not). This is optional, and the Accuracy page has nothing to compare against without it.
How possible inaccuracies are found
Every answer that names your brand is compared with your facts. A statement that contradicts a fact, or repeats a listed misconception, is flagged with the exact quote from the answer. A flagged quote is kept only if those exact words appear in the answer.
The same statement repeated across answers is grouped into one issue. Each issue shows the sources the engine cited next to it.
Review an issue
Each issue has three actions: Mark reviewed, Not an issue and Reopen. Open issues are shown on Perception, under What AI says.
Why did the engine get this wrong?
For each issue you can record the cause. The cause decides the fix:
| Cause | Fix it points to |
|---|---|
| Our site states it clearly | Structural: make the page easier for engines to read and cite. |
| Our site is silent or unclear | On-page: state the fact plainly on the right page. |
| A third-party source says otherwise | Off-page: correct or outweigh the source. |
You decide the cause, with the cited sources in front of you.
Corrections in the fix list
An open inaccuracy becomes a Correction fix, and corrections are always listed first. About the fix list
Limits
The checker only knows what you have told it. It cannot find a wrong statement about a fact you have not listed.
