Each project has two settings under Schedule in its tracking settings.
| Setting | What it does |
|---|---|
| Timezone | The zone the project runs in, such as Europe/London. New projects use Europe/London. |
| Check time | The local hour (00:00 to 23:00) the project's checks start from, or Any time. |
How it is worked out
With a Check time chosen, nothing runs before that local hour, and each prompt runs once per local calendar day. Weekly, fortnightly and monthly prompts count calendar days the same way. With Any time, spacing is as before and only the weekend for "Daily prompts on weekdays only" moves to the project's own Saturday and Sunday.
Checks are started hourly, so a check starts a little after the hour you chose, not on the minute. A day with a clock change is still one day. A check missed during an outage starts later the same local day. Run now counts as that day's check.
The dates in the project's summary email and client report email are written in the project's timezone.
What does not change
Stored answers keep their time in UTC. The 7 day window of the figures, billing months and the dates on the other screens do not follow the project's timezone.
