The Hosts tab on Sources groups the same citations as Websites, but by full host. So blog.example.com, help.example.com and example.com each get their own row.
| Column | What it means |
|---|---|
| Citations | Times an answer cited a page on that host. |
| Share | That host's share of all citations. |
| Engines | The engines that cited it. |
| Mentions you | The share of the answers citing that host that also name you. |
It shows the top 200 hosts.
How it is worked out
The host is the web address of each cited page without "www.". The figures are the same as on Websites, only grouped by host, for the period and filters chosen at the top.
Where to find it
Sources, the Hosts tab after Websites.
What to do next
Use it when one part of a website does the work. If a site's blog is cited and its main pages are not, that blog is the place to be covered. See Sources and competitors.
