Pick up to 5 public pages on your competitors' sites, such as a pricing page and a features page. Every Monday each page is read and compared with the last time it was read. The Page changes tab lists what changed: the page, the date, the lines added and the lines removed. Tap a row to see the changed lines.
Below the list, Watching 3 of 5 shows each page with its last result and a Remove button. A small form adds a page by address.
How it is worked out
Only the main text of the page is kept, without menus, footers and side bars. The first reading is the baseline and shows no change. A failed reading never resets the comparison, so the next good reading is compared with the last good one. A diff keeps up to 120 changed lines.
A page is not read when its site's robots.txt disallows our crawler, and addresses that are not public pages are refused.
Where to find it
Competitors, Page changes.
What to do next
A new line in a rival's pricing or features page is a prompt to check the prompts that mention it, on the Prompts page.
