Compare with your page is a card on a cited page's own page. Paste one of your own pages, press Compare, and it shows the few rows where the page AI cites is ahead of yours, with both figures side by side and one Top suggestion.
| Row | Counts as a gap when the cited page |
|---|---|
| Words | has at least 1.3 times your words and at least 150 more |
| Sections | has headings that none of yours cover |
| Facts and figures | has at least 2 figures you lack, and more than you |
| Structured data | has schema types you lack |
| FAQ | has FAQ markup and you do not, or at least 3 more question headings |
| Last updated | is dated, and yours is missing or at least 90 days older |
| Lists and tables | has at least 3 more lists and tables than you |
Open All differences and suggestions to see every row, including the ones where you match, the headings behind each, the full list of suggested changes and both heading outlines.
How it is worked out
Both pages are read as a visitor without JavaScript would see them. The suggestions are plain rules over the differences, one sentence per gap. Nothing is sent to an AI model and no checks are used. A figure is a percentage, an amount of money, a number with a unit, or a number of four or more digits. Figures written in words are missed.
Your page must be on your own site, and the cited page must be one that an answer in this project cites. Anything else is refused.
Where to find it
Sources, then Details on a cited page.
What to do next
Start with the Top suggestion. The rules show what the cited page has that yours lacks. They do not show what made the engine cite it. Make one change, then check again on your next run.
