When the Site check reads your site, it announces itself with this user agent:
Mozilla/5.0 (compatible; KlientBrainBot/1.0; +https://app.klientbrain.ai)
If your firewall, CDN or a country redirect treats unknown bots differently, allow that name (the part to match on is KlientBrainBot).
When you need it
- The check says it was sent to a different domain than the one in Settings.
- The check says the page may be another country version of your site.
- Bot view says the AI crawler and a browser ended on different pages.
- The status row shows 401, 403 or 429.
What to ask your developer
Some sites send visitors to a country version of the page (for example a .com sending UK visitors to a .co.uk). Ask them to skip that redirect, or any bot block, for the user agent above. Our reads come from a data centre, not from your customers' countries, so a site that redirects by country can show us a different page than your visitors see.
What we cannot offer yet
We do not have a fixed list of IP addresses to allow. Allow by user agent.
If the check landed on a different domain
The domain in Settings stays your main domain. Use Add as alternative domain on the site check to count the other one as yours too. Redirects from http to https, to or from www., or between subdomains of the same site are shown as information, not as faults.
