Above the All cited domains table on Sources, a row of filters narrows the list. They combine, and the count beside the heading shows how many websites match. Each filter appears only once it is switched on for your workspace.

Brand mention and topic
The Brand mention list keeps the websites whose citing answers match your choice:
- Any brand mention: no filter.
- Names you: the answers cite the website and name your brand.
- Does not name you: the answers cite the website and never name your brand.
- Names a competitor: the answers name at least one tracked competitor.
- Names a single competitor you pick, when the list has competitor choices.
The Topic list appears when your prompts have topics. It keeps the websites cited in answers to prompts on that topic. All topics clears it.
Article type and group by domain
Article type keeps the websites with at least one cited page of that type, and the opened website then lists only those pages. The list holds only the types found among your cited pages: Listicle, Review, How-to guide, Comparison, Alternative, Case study, Checklist, News, Discussion, Video, Product page, Profile, Homepage or Article.
The type is worked out from each page's address and title only. The page's own text is not stored, so a page can land in Article when its address and title give no hint.
Group by domain puts every website under its parent domain, so blog.example.com and example.com sit together. The columns are Domain, Websites, Citations, Share and Engines. Tap a domain to see its websites. The other filters apply first. Tap the button again to go back to the plain list.
Min competitors
The Gap filter list starts at All domains. Choose Min 1 competitor, Min 2 competitors or Min 3 competitors to see domains where competitors are mentioned but your brand is not. A website counts when the answers that cite it name at least that many different competitors and never name your brand. Your own website is never a gap.
Good to know
- Lost from Citation changes shows websites that dropped out, so Brand mention and Article type do not apply there.
- Sources has more extras on Source details.
