The Cited alongside tab on Sources ranks who appears in the same answers as you. It has two views.
| View | What it counts |
|---|---|
| Named together | Answers that name you and also name the brand. Brands you track and brands you do not track both show. |
| Cited together | Answers that cite your website and also cite the other website. |
Each row shows the share of your answers with that brand in them, and the number of answers.
How it is worked out
Each answer counts once for a brand, however often the answer repeats it. The share is out of the answers that name you (or cite your website), for the period and filters chosen at the top.
It does not look at the text of a cited page, so two brands on the same page are not counted as together unless the same answer cites both.
Where to find it
Sources, the Cited alongside tab.
What to do next
A brand near the top of Named together is the one AI puts next to you, so it is the comparison worth reading first. A website near the top of Cited together is a place AI trusts on your topic. See Sources and competitors.
