The free plan lets a workspace keep using the app without paying, with a small allowance.
What it includes
- 1 project
- 10 questions in that project
- 50 checks a month, for the whole workspace. One check is one question asked once on one engine. The count starts again on the 1st.
Start it
Open Settings, then Billing, and find the Free plan card. Choose Start for free. Only a workspace Admin can start it, and a workspace that already has a paid plan cannot.
Once you are on it, the card shows N of M checks used with a bar and a percentage. At 90% it says Approaching limit. At 100% it says Limit reached, and checks pause until the 1st. The card also shows Upgrade to Startup to move up.
How it fits with the trial and paid plans
- A paid plan, or a running free trial, always counts first. The free plan is what a workspace falls back to when it has neither.
- When a free trial ends, a workspace that chose the free plan drops to it instead of pausing. A workspace that did not choose it pauses until you pick a plan, as in Billing and the free trial.
- A failed payment still pauses checks.
When you hit a limit
- Adding a second project says The free plan includes 1 project. Upgrade to Startup to add more.
- Adding more questions says The free plan includes 10 questions. Upgrade to Startup to track more.
- Using up the month's checks pauses them until the 1st, or until you upgrade.
