Ads shows the advertisers running ads against your tracked prompts. Even when an answer names you first, a competitor's ad can sit beside it. Ads are read from the ChatGPT app and Google AI Mode only, so choose one of them in the engine filter.
The three figures at the top
| Figure | What it means |
|---|---|
| Advertisers | Brands seen running an ad in an answer to one of your prompts. |
| Ad coverage | The share of answers that showed at least one ad. |
| Prompts with ads | Prompts where at least one answer showed an ad. |
The table
Under Advertisers running ads in your market, switch between three views:
- All advertisers: one row per advertiser, with Creatives (different ads seen), Prompts and Times seen.
- All ads: each ad's title and copy, where it Sends to, Prompts, Times seen and Longevity. Longevity is how many days the ad has been seen. It is marked Active or Likely inactive. Hover it for the first and last date seen.
- By prompt: each prompt, the advertisers on it and its Ad coverage.
What to do next
Start with By prompt. A prompt where a competitor advertises and you are not named is missing in both places. Long-running ads show what the advertiser keeps paying for. If you see No ads yet, ads only show when an answer carries a sponsored placement.
