The Content updates card on Pages lists the pages of your site that were updated in the period you chose, and shows your citations beside them.
The figures
| Part | What it means |
|---|---|
| Pages updated | Pages whose own date falls in the period. The date is the page's structured data, meta tag or Last-Modified header, read by your latest site check. |
| Chart | Each week, the pages updated (one bar) and Citations per check of all your pages together (the other bar). |
The list
The five most recent updates show first, newest first. The rest are folded below them.
| Column | What it means |
|---|---|
| Page | The page. Choose it to open the page's detail. |
| Updated | The date the page gives. Hover for where it came from. |
| Citations per check, before and after | How often AI cited this page in each run before its date, and after it. |
Needs a check on each side means there is no run before or after the date yet, so there is nothing to compare.
Read it with care
The two series are only shown side by side. They do not say the update caused the change, as other things change between runs too. The dates are the ones each page gives itself, so a page that does not state a date is not listed. If you see No page dates yet. Run a site check to read them., run a site check first.
What to do next
A page whose citations rose after an update shows what worked. Repeat it on similar pages. A page that fell after an update is worth a second look.
