The Crawl to click ratio card shows, per AI platform, bot visits for each visit from AI answers.
| Column | What it means |
|---|---|
| Bot visits | That platform's AI bots requesting your pages, from your uploaded server logs. |
| Visits from AI | People arriving from that platform's assistants. |
| Ratio | Bot visits for each visit. 15.0 : 1 means 15 bot visits for every visit sent. |
How it is worked out
Bots and assistants are matched by platform, for example OpenAI's bots with ChatGPT's visits. Visits come from the visitor tracking script, or from Google Analytics 4 when the script has none.
Missing data is never shown as 0. With no logs, bot visits show No data. With no visits recorded, the card says Visits from AI: No data. A platform that crawled but sent nobody shows no ratio.
Where to find it
AI crawlers, the Overview tab, below the bots, pages and errors cards. It follows the 7, 30 or 90 day choice at the top.
What to do next
A high ratio means a platform reads a lot and sends little back. Check which pages it crawls in AI crawlers and which it cites in Pages.
