Sentiment evidence

The sentences behind each sentiment score, and the pages cited in negative answers.

Two cards on Perception show what sits behind the sentiment score.

Sentiment over time

One line, the sentiment score (0 to 100) for each check. Click or tap a point and Examples and quotes opens under the chart: up to six sentences the score was read from, strongest signal first, each with its tone, its engine and a See answer link. A line above them gives the split, such as "2 positive, 1 neutral, 3 negative, from 6 answers". See quotes lists the same by date.

Negative sentiment drivers

The web pages cited in the answers that read negative about you, most answers first. A row shows the page, the engines and the number of answers. Tap a row for Open page and a See answer link for each answer.

How it is worked out

Everything comes from answers already stored. A score of 60 or more is positive and 40 or less is negative, the same cut-offs as the Sentiment tile. Quotes are the stored sentence for each mention, one per distinct sentence, furthest from neutral first. Pages are counted once per negative answer, up to eight pages.

A page cited beside a negative sentence may not have caused it. Read the list as a pointer, not as proof.
