Claim analysis

Open one inaccurate claim to see how often AI repeats it, on which models and prompts, which pages it cites, and the answers themselves.

Claim analysis is the page for one claim that Accuracy has flagged. Use it to see how far a wrong or outdated statement has spread, and which pages sit behind it.

Claim analysis

Open it

Go to Accuracy, find the claim and choose Claim analysis beside it. Back to Accuracy brings you back.

What the page shows

  • The claim, as the title, with its severity, Wrong or Outdated, and the line Contradicts: or Current fact:.
  • A ring and a percentage: the share of answers to these prompts that mention the claim, against answers to the same prompts on the same models. Hover for the figure across all answers in the project. With two or more checks, a small chart shows how the share has moved.
  • What AI is saying: a short summary built from the figures, not written by a model, with a line saying which models it was built from.
  • Repeated in, Prompts, Models, First seen and Last seen. A badge on Last seen says whether the claim is In latest check.

Claim breakdown

Switch between three views:

  • Citation: the pages cited in answers that repeat the claim, with their Category, Citation share and, where there is one, a Suggested action. A page marked Driving is cited beside the claim more than in answers without it.
  • Model: the share on each model, with a bar.
  • Prompt: each prompt, how often the claim was repeated and the models involved.

Responses

The answers that mention the claim, each with its prompt, model and date, and the claim marked in the text. Five show at first. Show all opens the rest. If more answers repeat the claim than are listed, the line Latest N of M says so.

View highlight on page

On the Citation view, a cited page can carry the link View highlight on page. It opens the page in a new tab with the claim's sentence highlighted, where your browser supports it. The same link appears under Pages driving this claim on Accuracy.

The sentence is the one found in the AI answer, not text read from the cited page. We do not fetch the page. If your browser does not support text fragments, or the sentence is not on the page, the page opens at the top. When we have no usable sentence for a page, the link is not shown.

What to do next

Review the claim on Accuracy. See Accuracy and brand facts and Mark a claim as wrongly flagged.
