Rewrite a page suggests changes to one of your existing pages so it answers the prompts in a content brief. Your page is read, never changed: the result stays in the app until you copy it.
Make a rewrite
- Open Sources and choose the Content briefs tab, then a topic, or Brief beside one prompt.
- Under Rewrite a page, enter the Page address of a page on your own website.
- Choose a Rewrite level, then Rewrite page.
| Rewrite level | What changes |
|---|---|
| Conservative | Light edits, keeps the structure |
| Balanced | Rewrites sections, keeps the key structure (the default) |
| Full rewrite | Rebuilds the page for the question |
The rewrite uses only the facts on your page and your true brand facts. Where a fact would help and we do not have it, it shows a [placeholder in square brackets] for you to fill in. It looks at the headings of the pages AI cites for these prompts, never their text, so nothing is copied.
Review the changes
Each change shows removed words struck through and new words marked.
- Apply uses the new wording; Dismiss keeps your page's own.
- Revert undoes either.
- Apply all and Dismiss all handle every change still to review.
- To review, Applied and Dismissed show the changes in each state.
- Copy page copies the page as it now stands, with your choices. Discard removes the rewrite.
The score beside the page is out of 100 and checks the page as it stands against habits that help AI cite it. It is not a promise that engines will cite the page.
Who can use it
People who can edit the project. Viewers and client logins do not see it. Rewrites share the Ask AI monthly allowance; the section shows how many are left this month. The demo project does not rewrite pages.
