Topics and tags both sort your prompts, in different ways. A prompt has one topic, like a folder. It can have any number of custom tags, like labels, for example "enterprise" and "pricing page". The topics filter on Prompts uses both, so you can look at one slice of your prompts at a time.
Pick topics and tags
On Prompts, the topics button sits beside the search box and reads All topics until you pick something. Open it to see:
- Search, to find a topic or tag by name.
- All topics, to clear your choice.
- Or and And (see below).
- Topics, then Custom tags, each with the number of prompts that carry it.
Tick as many as you like. Only beside one picks just that one. The button then shows the name you picked, or how many are picked, for example 3 selected.
A prompt with no topic is under General.
Or and And
With more than one picked, the button also shows Or or And:
| Choice | Shows |
|---|---|
| Or | Prompts with any of the chosen topics or tags. This is the default. |
| And | Prompts with every chosen topic and tag. |
For example, pick the tags "enterprise" and "pricing page". Or lists every enterprise prompt and every pricing page prompt. And lists only the prompts tagged with both.
Since a prompt has one topic, And with two topics shows nothing. Use And to combine one topic with tags, or tags with each other.
What the filter changes
The prompt table lists only the prompts that match, with each one's figures as before. Clear the filter with All topics.
Add tags
Tick prompts on Prompts, then use Tag in the bar that appears, and Add tag or Remove tag. A prompt can have 20 tags. See Organise and export your prompts for grouping by tag, saved views and export.
